# Currency Dormitory Explained

### What are Currency Dormitories?

Currency Dormitory - CD in short, is a dedicated space for cryptocurrency fans gathered around a currency of choice. One user can be a part of multiple dormitories if they own and HODLs multiple Moonie Friend NFTs. 

Users assemble to express their fandom around specific currencies as it allows them to group together and discuss, research or just chill together, just like friends.

Dormitories will play a key role in the Story Mode as well as FCL -  both for discussion about ongoing events with exclusive members of the community and for increased performance of research strategies necessary in order to score high in the league. 

It can be also considered as a guild-like place for specific cryptocurrency enthusiasts with common interest and intend to research the latest news and trends.

### How to join a Dormitroy

Initially there will be 5 Premium Dormitories for BTC, ETH, DOGE, “IDOLS”, and OVERALL - with plans to add new ones with new Moonie Friends types being launched. 

To enter the Dormitory associated with each cryptocurrency, the user needs to HODL a corresponding Moonie Friend. Once it’s held, the access is granted. Currency Dormitories will be realized in the form of channels in the Moonieverse Discord.

### Why it’s worth joining

CD is the most premiere place for Moonie Friend HODLers to be in. Dormitories will allow users to have the advantage over the non-HODLers as the information exchanged and tools available will give members an advantage over the rest of the participants.
